What is Lazyfeed?

Lazyfeed turns the Web into a stream of everything you love, and lets you enjoy “fishing”. 1. You create your own stream by adding topics you love to talk about.

How to play Lazyfeed

1. Basics

Watch

Every channel has an inventory of topics. Collect topics to your inventory and start watching as endless stream of Web content starts flowing in. This is where you discover stuff to talk about.

Post

Lazyfeed’s unique interface lets you effortlessly post stuff.
Open up an entry and start typing in your thoughts while reading through the content. It’s as easy as talking to your friend on instant messenger!

2. Meet people

Follow

Follow people you want to receive updates from. You will get real-time notifications when they post something.

Bookmark

Bookmark channels you wish to visit frequently. When you bookmark a channel, it will appear on your On Air section at Home.
(Note: Unlike Follow, your bookmark information is not publicly displayed)

Comment

Comment on anyone’s post you find interesting. You will start getting real-time notifications on conversations you participated in. You can also love a post to show your interest.

Components

Home

A channel is where you watch, share, and talk about things you love. You can share your favorite topics through your inventory, and share content through posting. Create as many channels as you want. Everything on your channel is broadcasted to your friends and the world.

1. On Air: This section displays real-time preview of all the channels you created or bookmarked.

2. What's happening: This section displays the most recent posts from people you follow.

Channel

This is the actual “playground”. You start out with topic inventory (right side), and pick out stuff to post (to the left side). Show off your taste by creating an interesting inventory and posting interesting things.

1. Inventory: This is the stream of everything you love. This is where you discover interesting stuff to post. Show off your taste by making an interesting collection. Other people will bookmark your inventory if they find it useful.

2. Post: Find something from the inventory and post it here. It’s like your own scrapbook for every interesting discovery you make. People can comment on your posts and carry on conversations.

Magnified Topic

Click on a topic from your inventory and it will magnify itself to show all incoming content.
Entries are ordered in chronological order (Most recent ones at the top).

1. Related topics: These are topics frequently mentioned with the topic you’re looking at now. The list changes in real-time to reflect what’s trending at the moment.

2. Related channels: These are channels that include the topic you’re looking at. This list also changes in real-time (The channel with the most recent post appears at the top).

Posting Window

Note that this looks like instant messenger window. That’s right. We want you to post as effortlessly as possible. All you need to do is click an entry to read, and then start typing in what you think. This unique interface lets you read and write at the same time, saving you time and effort.

1. Add button: Add the topic on the go while viewing its page.

2. URL bar: Type in a URL or a topic to view the preview, from which you can add it into one of your channels on the go.

3. Posting field: Type in your thought while reading. Whenever you post something your followers will get real-time notification, and starts an on-going conversation.

Posts

This is the gallery of you and your friends’ posts. The left column shows the list of you and the people you follow.

1. People: Whenever a person has an update, that person’s profile will appear at the top of the list.

2. Posts: Click a profile from the left, and that person’s recently updated posts will appear, organized by channels. The channels with updates will rise to the top.
